I have 4 of these posts, all of different ages. The oldest one is around 10 years old, and though it shows signs of enthusiastic use by our Main Coon kitties is still in very serviceable condition.

I am replacing two posts I got on Amazon a little over a year ago. They weren’t very expensive, but sometimes you get what you pay for. They are ripped to shreds and don’t look very nice with pieces of thin sisal rope hanging out. One of them went in the trash this evening when I got the new one, and the other will join it in the landfill as soon as I receive the one I just ordered.
